Here we are a year and 1 day after I started this blog… why did it take me so long? Honestly? I lacked confidence in my writing skills, had a very busy year and most significantly, I wanted my posts to be perfect; therefore, I wrote several drafts, but never published anything.
Shame on me… Yes, I know.
So I’m doing this full speed ahead. Taking my own advice, which I give all the time… not waiting for the perfect moment or the perfect piece of writing… just starting now… As I post more, you will get to better understand me, my viewpoint, what I’m about, what my goals are, and hopefully, walk away from the blog with something helpful. That is my goal here.
I’m steam rolling into 2014… bringing all of the good things that I was blessed with in 2013, as well as all of the valuable lessons I learned… Quick recap – In 2013, I boldly left Corporate America after 13 years to pursue my passion, which is Health, Fitness and Wellness. In addition to taking the leap with my career, I also took a huge risk on a long distance relationship which didn’t work out, but was definitely for the best. I’m an even better version of myself now. I met some amazing people which I have added to my close network of friends, and I also successfully accomplished a long term personal goal of competing at the professional level for the first time with the International Federation of Body Building.
Those are the highlights… yay! Now let’s move forward. Stay tuned because I have a lot to talk about and I hope you enjoy the ride.
